In this course, students are introduced to a basic working knowledge of performance skills and techniques that can be applied to multiple dance forms. Experiences are based on fundamentals of ballet, modern, and jazz dance. Additional course focuses include: aesthetics, theory, dance history, choreographic techniques, careers, and performance components. This course satisfies the Fine Arts education credit required for graduation.
